Apps that are already on the store for free can have in-app products and subscriptions added to get the bankroll going. Google Play will allow Indian developers to price an app in any available currency, and receive payouts and financial data in your local currency. Perhaps, Google could not have timed it any better, as according to their own numbers India is now the fourth-largest market worldwide for app downloads, with number of device activations jumping by over 400% in the last one year.
