Huawei announced his device back in August and now the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is up for grabs in India via online retailer Flipkart. The device sports a 7-inch IPS display with 1024x600 pixels resolution.
The MediaPad 7 Lite is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and it runs Android 4.0 ICS. It seems to a slightly premium tablet in the entry-level segment, which might hopefully last longer than its competitors. It supports 3G with voice calling, SMS and MMS. The device also has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 0.3 megapixel camera for video calling.
This tablet also features 1080p HD video playback at 30 frames per second, it has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. In terms of connectivity, it supports 3G (HSDPA 3.6Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0, aGPS and USB On-the-Go.
It has a 4,100 mAh battery and is device is priced at Rs. 13,700 with the online retailer. The Media Pad 7 Lite is expected to being shipping in 6-8 business days.
