Microsoft launched Windows 8 and Surface tablet in New York yesterday, showcasing all the tablets and PCs that will be running on the new OS. Devices running the new OS will go on sale today in some markets, with the Surface RT tablet available in eight countries. Windows 8 is now available in 140 countries and 37 languages, to consumers it will be available in two versions: Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro. There's Windows 8 Enterprise for large organizations, while OEMs will be able to deploy Windows 8 on ARM-based tablets, such as the Surface RT.
