The wait for Sony Xperia J is finally over! This Sony smartphone has finally launched in India - this mid-ranged Android smartphone which will be available across all major retailers at Rs. 18,399.
The Sony Xperia J sports a 4-inch 480 x 854 resolution screen sheathed by a scratch resistant gorilla glass display. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory (usable up to 2GB only). It means that, the phone is quite fast and will let you use multiple apps efficiently and without any lag. It comes with pre-installed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it will receive and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update sometime later in 2013.
The phone’s memory is expandable up to 32GB via the microSD slot available and has a powerful 1,750mAh battery which will provide you with a talk-time of up to 7hours (3G). It comes with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED Flash and has a front facing VGA camera allowing you to video chat. Other features of the phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and aGPS connectivity.
Sony is coming up with a lot of new models in the market and stands as a tough competition to most of the smartphones in the mid-ranged segment. Few of the new models which are expected to launch in coming days include Xperia V, Xperia Advance and Xperia TL.
